Demystifying On-chain Trials
All of a sudden, we can prove psi and normalize it using blockchain technology.

We could even eventually create a whole new layer of reality where the future interacts more directly with the present through psi and Web 3.0.

For now, though, we take our first step into the future with “on-chain trials”.
On-chain trials can be as legitimate as any scientific psi experiments out there or even more irrefutable. The whole process is – or very close to – “trustless” meaning there is no need for anyone to trust anyone to trust the results. Let me repeat: There is no need for anyone to trust anyone to trust the results. No approval from any form of authority needed. Simply put: If recorded on blockchain, it happened that way it says it did, period. That’s powerful stuff.
For those who don’t know, blockchain is a digitally distributed, decentralized, immutable public ledger/database underlying Web 3.0 networks, applications, and assets such as cryptocurrencies, NFTs, etc. In essence blockchain is a “trust machine” or “truth machine” the likes of which we’ve never seen in the entire history of human civilization.

Turns out, this is exactly what psi needed. Because truth has always been on psi’s side, all psi needed was a megaphone to announce its presence. Blockchain, for all intents and purposes, is that megaphone, suddenly appearing like the Monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey, waiting to be activated. (We would be the apes.)

This means we can begin now, and we can begin now with on-chain trials.

It is not too different from more traditional psi/remote viewing trial design where the setup involves a hidden, randomly selected “target” and a number of decoys (together forming a group of candidates) and you would be tasked to psychically perceive the hidden target and then subsequently pick it out from the candidates much like in a “police lineup” or “identity parade”.

The key difference is that the on-chain version makes your pick (actually candidate ranking) permanent, immutable, and public by storing it on the blockchain before the target is selected (we are essentially testing precognition), and then the target itself is randomly selected on-chain and the result is recorded on the blockchain.

Done this way, there is virtually no room for cheating and no way to hide your result. The system is trustless. What is recorded is what happened, period. No traditional scientific psi experiments can be this airtight and this resounding.
If you got psi, you can prove psi. That is the new reality we are in now and we are about to make ESP very, very real in the near future. This is a small beginning of a very big thing.

A step-by-step guide follows below.
+ – + – +
Step 1: Start by connecting to blockchain using MetaMask (a browser plugin, or an app if on a mobile device), then select your multiple-choice size.

On the server side the system randomly selects “target candidates”, one of which will be later randomly chosen on-chain as the target. The candidates (images & info) are kept hidden at this point.

Step 2: The system assigns a random TRN or “target reference number” and displays it on the screen along with a message prompting you to start your “session”. At this point you are to “turn on your psi” and “tune into the target” for extrasensory information about the target (or in effect a “prediction”).

Step 3: When you’re done, click to continue. On the next page you’ll see the target candidates (images & info). Rank them based on how closely they match your psi impressions. (1st = closest match.) When ready, click to submit your ranking choice.

Step 4: It’s time to interact with the blockchain. The transaction makes your ranking data permanent, immutable, and openly accessible.

Click “Continue” to activate the MetaMask plugin, commencing Transaction #1. There is a tiny, unavoidable fee involved here which is so minimal it’s practically non-existent (~$0.01 USD using Ethereum Classic). This is something called a “gas” fee, required by the blockchain network itself and it goes directly and only to the network or “miners”. (Reading from blockchain is free. Writing to it is not.)

You are now interacting with a “smart contract” (via MetaMask) which lives on the blockchain. This is a smart contract coded specifically (by Psiscope) to facilitate these on-chain trials. It is designed to receive and then record your candidate ranking data directly into the blockchain’s distributed database (i.e. becoming part of a “block” that is added to the unbroken “chain”), making it permanent, public, and immutable. The smart contract attaches your blockchain wallet address to the trial data, making it permanently associated with you and you only.

Step 5: As soon as Transaction #1 is complete, you are prompted to start Transaction #2. This triggers the smart contract to randomly (and retroactively) select the target for the trial. (It picks a number between 1-3 if there are 3 candidates, or between 1-2 if there are 2 candidates, and so on.)

Once the target is selected, the smart contract retrieves your candidate ranking data from Transaction #1 and compares it to the target. Since your choice was recorded first and is immutable, there is no room for cheating in this system.

The smart contract records the target as well as the final result on the blockchain.
At this point you get your feedback, meaning you are shown how accurate or inaccurate your psychic impression was.

Congratulations. You have completed your on-chain trial!
+ – + – +
That’s the end of one trial. The point of these on-chain trials is to do as many of them as possible in order to build your track record. Your on-chain track record is your psi-skill certification. If you have a good track record, it opens up a direct path to becoming a psicognitive professional, for example.
If you want to show your friend, family, or potential client the level of psi power you possess, all you have to do is reach into your pocket, whip out your smart phone, and pull up your track record directly from the blockchain. “Here is what I can do, now would you like to hire me for this project or not?”

For more details, pull up your charts and dig into your performance numbers.

These particular charts, by the way, are my personal off-chain trials, 279 in total done over the last few years. Strong psi but it’s no proof, unless you’re just willing to take my word for it. Had I done this on-chain, you would have no choice but to accept it as the truth. See the profound difference?
With all these tools available now, the more you do the more you learn, and the better you do the more you earn (eventually). With tenacity and proper guidance you can improve your psi performance regardless of your natural talent. You just need to achieve some kind of consistency, which for psi can be potentially powerful enough to change the world, especially now that we have blockchain and web3 removing so many obstacles in one fell swoop.
As far as applying psi to real world issues, this will initially take the form of what has been called ARV or “associative remote viewing”. Not drastically different from trials and, in fact, we can port much of the trial setup to ARV, add an extra mechanism for attaching specific “associations” to the candidates and you got yourself an ARV setup ready to go. (Psiscope has a robust ARV system already.) Naturally blockchain can be used if needed for proof creation. Beyond that, some years from now, we can easily foresee unique features of web3 playing a massive role in creating an ecosystem and economy using psicognitive information, perhaps even giving rise to the first inkling of a time-reversed new civilization nested inside the existing one.

Why Two Transactions?
The reason for doing two transactions instead of one is twofold. The first reason is to completely isolate the “prediction” part (user’s ranking data) from the target selection process (answer) thereby virtually eliminating the possibility of cheating. The second reason is a bit more technical and has to do with the way we use the normally deterministic blockchain to safely produce randomness completely on-chain.
While not the smoothest design, at least for the current setup the 2-step process is the most secure and proper way to do this without incurring additional transaction fees.
Why Is Target Selected Afterward?
Normally it would make no sense to try to perceive things that do not exist yet. (“Focus!” “On what?” “We don’t know yet!”) But in the mysterious realm of psychic functioning, “retro-causality” – the future causing the past – is not just a theoretical possibility but a real phenomenon considered quite “normal” in parapsychology these days based on real scientific data. While the future is in all likelihood indeed more malleable than the past, evidence suggests at least for short-term events the sequential order really does not seem to matter much for psi cognition.
That being the case, why not eliminate the possibility of cheating or design flaws by simply not having a target in existence until after everything else has been permanently recorded on the blockchain? This way the trial is trustless i.e. you don’t have to trust anyone to know that the result is valid. (Such trial design is not uncommon in academic psi research these days, sans blockchain.)
New Paradigm, New Protocol
No more BS, no more anecdotes, no more maybes. We are about to have a new paradigm and a new protocol.
Simply put: Soon, if not recorded on blockchain, it didn’t happen and it doesn’t count.
