PsiFi Reality
You’ve probably heard of it. It’s called blockchain – a decentralized, distributed digital ledger technology underlying what is now called Web 3.0 (including cryptocurrency, NFTs, etc.).
You don’t know it yet, but this is what we’ve been waiting for.
“Immutable” and “trustless” – the stairway to psi heaven at last.
Right now as we speak, psi is on the verge of a historic breakthrough, all thanks to this game-changing digital technology.
Now obviously…
…this is predicated on the reality of psi. No problem. Contrary to popular belief, psychic functioning is well documented and overwhelmingly supported by objective evidence. For all intents and purposes, ESP is a real phenomenon. The real challenge has been converting it into common knowledge, accelerated research, and real-world applications.
Easier said and done, of course. Old habits die hard. Humans and cultures don’t change easily. Thus the famous – yet definitely unscientific – saying originally uttered by Carl Sagan:
“Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”
Well, if psi is real, and it is, then we can produce “extraordinary evidence” right now with blockchain.
- On blockchain everything is transparent, time-stamped and immutable, making on-chain proof “trustless” i.e. no need to trust anyone to trust the proof
- Blockchain is essentially a database hence well equipped to deal with small effect sizes (small statistical indicators) typical for psi
- With cryptographic hash functions, blockchain can easily create provable blind/double-blind conditions usually required for psi experiments and projects
Start the clock. The reality of psi will be accepted. It’s just a matter of time at this point.
And it will be a big deal. If the future can be accessed with any consistency, it doesn’t take much to change the world.
Knowledge is power, as they say, and psi intelligence is knowledge like no other, bridging dimensions – particularly the “future” – in a manner heretofore considered impossible. It will be an extra layer of reality added onto the existing one. The layer will be a network comprised of nodes in the form of “psicogs” – i.e. those with certified psi abilities – supplying a stream of trans-dimensional intelligence into linear reality. It can fundamentally alter the shape of society, literally changing the rules of the game or the substrate of knowledge itself.
Such a trans-dimensional network may transform into the new “dark web”, facilitating collaborations between psicogs as well as transactions between psicogs and clients. No weapons or drugs, but inter-temporal intelligence. Such a network would grow quickly into a full-blown ecosystem, steadily encroaching into the existing reality.
We can’t imagine all the possibilities that lie ahead. But we can already feel rumblings from the future impact.
